The meeting aims to present thesis and internship opportunities. It will open with a welcome address from the course coordinator, Prof. Luca Manzoni, followed by a presentation of the AI & Data Science Learning Ecosystem by its representatives.
The seminar will then introduce Infineon and its central R&D teams, and present MSc internship and thesis opportunities in data science and machine learning for mixed analog-digital circuit design, particularly analog IC layout. Davide Basso, a UniTS alumnus now working in Infineon’s R&D organization, will be among the guests.
Infineon is a global semiconductor leader in power systems and IoT, developing technologies that support decarbonization and digitalization. At the end of September 2025, it had around 57,000 employees worldwide and generated €14.7 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2025. Its three business divisions are Automotive, Edge Systems, and Power Systems.
